• In some cases you will need to buy text books but do remember that our library is stocked with a large range of text books for all courses, as well as online resources such as industry journals that are free of charge. At the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ¸ßÊÖÂÛ̳ you can borrow books and ¶Ù³Õ¶Ù’s from our  Learning Resource Centres.
• There is also a FREE service which can transport the texts between campuses for easy access and student convenience.
• You may want/need to purchase your own copies of books but there is an extensive collection of free resources and e-books provided by the university so isn't essential.

• You will need general stationery and other supplies such as presentation materials. For most courses standard stationary will need to be provided by the student. For example, a notepad and pen, or a laptop.

You may need to use the printing and photocopying facilities on campus for particular course materials. You are given £2 print credit to get started but you can top-up your credit via the following methods:

• From the choose 'Top-up Print Credits' 
• From Moodle click 'Student Services' then 'Print Services' 
• At the SIZ counter

• The U7/U8 Inter-campus Bus service is FREE for the students to use. (U7/U8 services operate on weekdays only, excluding pubic holidays.) The journey, on average, takes just thirty minutes.
• Purchasing a 16-25 railcard (free with a Santander student bank account) is a great way to save on train journeys.
• Stagecoach 700 buses have tickets starting from £2.00 to get from Chichester-Bognor Regis.
• ³§³Ù²¹²µ±ð³¦´Ç²¹³¦³óÌý50Ìýbus is only 60±èÌýas the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ¸ßÊÖÂÛ̳ subsidise the service for its students and staff. (The 50 bus operates between Chichester Cathedral and Summersdale.)

• The fitness suite (gym) in the Tudor Hale Centre of Sport has recently undergone a first-stage refurbishment to enhance Academic use whilst longer term plans are finalised.
• This work has now been completed and has created spaces for S&C, Functional Movement and Cardio/resistance activities. There is now a Pay As You Go option which costs just £10.00 for 15 sessions. The gym is available on weekdays between 12:00-1:00pm & 5:00-9:00pm and at weekends between 9:00am-4:00pm.

• Some courses will run field trips and educational visits. These are optional and do not have to be undertaken to complete the programme. Students make a contribution towards the cost (e.g. travel, sometimes accommodation.)

If you require a Diagnostic Assessment for a Specific Learning Difficulty such as Dyslexia, the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ¸ßÊÖÂÛ̳ may be able to assist you arrange this.

• You will be required to pay towards this assessment, although some financial assistance may be possible from the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ¸ßÊÖÂÛ̳ Support Fund.

• Graduation is free for the student to attend the ceremony itself. Graduands must wear academic dress. Academic dress, guest tickets and photography are additional costs payable by the student.
• Students are guaranteed two Guest tickets due to the venue capacity of Chichester Cathedral.
• Guest tickets are £22 each.
• You can also have your dissertation print and bound by our PrintShop. Costs are dependent on the number of colour/mono pages. Binding costs £1.50 per bind.
• Robing costs for graduation are as follows: Foundation or Diploma: £32.00, Bachelors, Masters, or Postgraduate: £35.00, PhD: £41.00. (Robes must be returned by 8pm on the day of your graduation ceremony.)

Some course specific uniform, kit and equipment will need to be provided by the student.

• BA (Hons) Acting For Film - No costs except for a Bone Prop (approx. £10-£20).
• BA (Hons) Musical Theatre (Film Acting) - A Bone Prop (approx. £10-£20) for the Acting For Film Side. Musical Theatre uniform costs are listed below.
• BA (Hons) Music Performance (Film Acting) - No costs
• Musical Theatre courses: Approximate uniform costs for MT average between £175-£190. Costs will largely depend on what uniform you already own.
• Art courses: UK gallery trips and additional costs will vary by the individual student's choices.
